You have a few things you want to know before you book. That is not hesitation, that is you taking yourself seriously. So here are the honest answers. Come as you are. Stay for the good part.

The basics

What is Citrus & Co.?

Women's experiences and gatherings across the Twin Cities. Plant nights, indie bookstore bus tours, private events, seasonal gatherings. Different rooms, one idea: you walk in alone and leave with people.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Most women do. That is what this whole thing is built for. You show up and the women on either side of you are there for the exact same reason.

Is this women only?

The rooms are built for women. Anyone who shows up respectful of that is welcome. Some events are open to everyone (Plant Bingo is), and some are 21 and up (the buses). Each event page tells you which.

Tickets & pricing

Why do ticket prices change from date to date?

Our bus experiences are priced by route. Gas and bus rental cost more on some routes than others, so ticket prices flex a little depending on where the day takes us. The price you see at checkout is the price for that route, and it is always subject to change until a date is set.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 36 hours before the event. Inside 36 hours we do not offer refunds, but you can transfer your ticket to another Citrus & Co. event of equal or lesser value.

How do I buy a ticket?

Every live event is on our tickets page. Pick your date, check out, and your confirmation lands in your inbox right away.

The Book Bus

Where does the bus go?

Stops are a surprise. You will love them. Discovery is part of the day, so we never publish the route ahead of time.

Do I have to know books to belong here?

No. You have to like them. Nobody is quizzing you. Some women bring a list and some women have not finished a book since March.

What is included in the ticket?

Your seat, the full day, the route, and exclusive rider discounts at the shops. Drinks and lunch are on your own.

Are drinks included?

No. Afternoon Beverage Co. is on board with craft non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase. No outside beverages on the bus.

How old do I have to be?

The Book Bus is 21 and up.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, and it is required for every rider on every ride. A waiver you signed for a previous Book Bus does not carry over. Your links come with your confirmation.

What should I bring?

Valid photo ID, a tote bag you can actually fill, cash or card, comfortable shoes, and a charged phone.

What if I am running late?

The bus departs sharp and cannot wait. Late arrivals cannot board, so plan to arrive for boarding at the time on your confirmation. You leave your car at the pickup spot and pick it up right there at the end of the day.

Plant Bingo by Citrus & Co.

What is Plant Bingo?

Five rounds of bingo with real plants as prizes, held at La Doña Cervecería in Minneapolis. Everyone goes home with plants. It is warm, it is a little rowdy, and it is the easiest room to walk into by yourself.

Who can come?

Everyone. Women, men, and kids are all welcome. The night is adult-focused but family-friendly.

Do I really go home with a plant?

Yes. Everyone leaves with plants. That is the promise.

Private events

Can I book Citrus & Co. for my own group?

Yes. Birthdays, bachelorettes, team days, girls' days. We build the day around your people, not a template. Tell us about it on the Private Events page and you will hear back within two business days.

After you book

I booked a ticket. Now what?

You will get a confirmation right away, and a reminder the week of with anything you need to sign. For bus events, your exact pickup address lands in your inbox around 5:00 PM the day before. We keep the details close on purpose. The not-knowing is part of what makes the day land. Trust the bus.
